Ritmos del Mundo es un Festival Internacional de Jazz y World Music, que pretende dar a conocer músicas de diferentes etnias y países, conjugando diferentes matices y apuntando al descubrimiento de nuevos ritmos y melodías en el marco de un festival de nivel internacional en cuanto a producción y propuesta artística, pero que no da la espalda a los músicos y artistas de nuestra ciudad.
Se realizará los días 10, 11 y 12 de Diciembre en la ciudad de Mar del Plata, en las prestigiosas salas Roxy, Melany y en uno de los más bellos jardines de Mar del Plata, Villa Silvina (residencia durante muchos años de Silvina Ocampo y Adolfo Bioy Casares)
El mes elegido permite agregar un atractivo más en la grilla de atracciones de primer nivel de la ciudad, teniendo en cuenta el TMDG que se realiza en Octubre y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Noviembre. Así, el festival Ritmos del Mundo cerraría una trilogía de festivales que posicionan a la ciudad como difusor de expresiones artísticas innovadoras y de alcance mundial.
Ritmos del Mundo apela a la degustación de nuestros sentidos, es un despliegue de sensaciones, sabores, texturas, ideas, imágenes y sonidos.
Ritmos del Mundo is an International Festival of Jazz and World Music, which aims to show music from different ethnic groups and countries, combining different stykes and pointed to the discovery of new rhythms and melodies within the framework of a festival of international quality in terms of production and artistic programming.
